Under current UK planning law, most developments must now demonstrate a minimum 10% increase in biodiversity value compared to the site’s original state. Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) is a mandatory requirement designed to ensure that the natural environment is left in a measurably better state than before development began.
Using the official Statutory Biodiversity Metric, we calculate your site’s baseline value and compare it against your proposed designs. If the 10% gain cannot be achieved on-site through habitat creation or enhancement, we guide you through the process of securing "off-site" credits or units.
